We also assist estate agents, mortgage brokers and property investors in understanding the conveyancing process, with particular emphasis on material information, HMOs, and auction sales and purchases.

About Me
Hello, I’m Jayne Hart, founder of Brackenburn Consultancy. I have over 30 years’ experience in the legal sector and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer and Commissioner for Oaths in 2001.

In 2005, I established a conveyancing law firm, which I led until its sale in 2021. Following the sale, I remained with the firm for a period in senior regulated roles, including HOLP (Head of Legal Practice), HOFA (Head of Finance and Administration) and MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer), before stepping away.
​
My experience extends beyond hands-on conveyancing to include law firm leadership, regulatory compliance, process optimisation, staff training, marketing and business strategy. This breadth of experience enables me to bring informed, practical insight to firms looking to streamline operations, manage risk and improve service delivery.

In addition to consultancy work, I also undertake a small number of bespoke conveyancing matters as a consultant with Setfords Solicitors, through whom all regulated legal work and professional indemnity insurance is provided.
